Auburn Community Church in Auburn, Alabama, began with a group of families committed to doing church differently, regardless of where they gather.
Established in 2014, the church has held Sunday gatherings in many different locations, including other churches, a hotel, basketball arenas, a livestock arena, and fields.
Running four services each Sunday to accommodate the 3,000+ guests each week, the church realized a need to begin the search for their permanent home.
In March 2021, the church broke ground on their 17-acre property.
From the initial design meeting, Lead Pastor Miles Fidel was passionate that their first permanent location maintain a balance between reverence and relevance – a modern building honoring sacred tradition.
Focusing on the desire to be a “church without walls,” the exquisite 1,250-seat worship auditorium features wood trusses highlighted by a row of windows along the ceiling, allowing natural light to fill the space.
