Church of the Highlands, a multi-site megachurch headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, recently engaged Adorama Business Solutions, a premier technology resource for corporate, educational, and government institutions, to procure its AV equipment for video production needs.
The added inventory has empowered Church of the Highlands to remotely respond to the needs of its congregants through live streaming and on-demand content during a time where they were unable to come together in person.
When governmental gathering restrictions due to COVID-19 forced Church of the Highlands to switch its focus to serving its congregants remotely, there was an immediate demand for a larger volume of video projects.
Given this sudden extra need for innovative content, the team quickly sought to supplement its existing AV equipment inventory. The church was able to rely on its dedicated account manager at Adorama Business Solutions for quick response times and product knowledge to procure the new equipment it needed.
Church of the Highlands worked with Adorama Business Solutions to identify and purchase the new equipment needed to build out their existing AV setup and capabilities. Selected equipment included: Feelworld 4K156-9HSD 15.6″ IPS 4K UHD Broadcast LED Monitor with Built-In Speaker, DanaDolly 39″ Aluminum Portable Pipe Kit, DanaDolly Hi Hat Universal Kit, SmallHD FOCUS 7 Daylight-Viewable 7″ LED Touchscreen Monitor with Bolt 500 Receiver, Teradek ACE 500 HDMI Wireless Video Transmitter, Atomos Shogun 7 7″ HDR Pro/Cinema Monitor-Recorder-Switcher, Atomos Accessory Kit for Shogun/Ninja Inferno, and Flame, Manfrotto MT055XPRO3 Aluminum 3 Section Tripod with Horizontal Column, Aputure MC RGBWW Mini LED Light and BlueShape GRANITE TWO High Capacity 90Wh Gold Mount Battery.
Through a collaborative sales process with Adorama Business Solutions, Church of the Highlands was able to increase its current AV equipment portfolio, thereby empowering the Worship Creative team to diversify their video projects, as well as grow the team’s skillset and technical abilities. The new equipment first and foremost has afforded the production team much more flexibility in its operations.
As the number of video and live streaming projects continues to grow, so too does the team’s experience and creativity in finding new ways to spread its message to congregants. The church’s production of regular content has offered much needed connection and sense of community to church-goers who, because of COVID-19, have been unable to worship physically together.
